Hyalite opal single American earrings

A simple earring made of a smooth drop-cut Hyalite Opal.

This is made by American Pierce.

We have obtained a very rare Hyalite Opal beaded stone.

The grains we purchased this time are large, have few cracks, and fluoresce well.

When you shine a black light on it, it emits a yellowish fluorescent green color (it's like the ones you see at summer festivals and on fishing gear that can be snapped off and made to glow. See image 18).

Under natural light on a sunny day (it reacts to ultraviolet rays), it appears slightly greenish in color. (See images 13-17)

Hyalite opal is classified as common opal without play of color. The most distinctive feature of Hyalite Opal is that it has fluorescent properties that give it a neon color when exposed to black light.

Not all Hyalite Opals are fluorescent, but only those that have been crystallized by incorporating natural uranium.

Most hyalite opals are loosely processed, and it is very rare to see beading like this one.

The earring fittings cannot be changed for this item.
